What are the benefits?
With Women's Best Super Sorb Calcium® capsules, we offer a highly innovative product designed to effectively support bones, teeth, muscles, and the nervous system. Thanks to advanced liposomal technology, the calcium is gentle on the stomach, highly bioavailable, and efficiently transported through the digestive tract into the cells.
Calcium is essential for the body, promoting the development of bones and teeth, supporting muscle contractions, nerve function, blood clotting, and maintaining a normal heart rhythm. It also aids enzyme activity, stabilizes cell membranes, and facilitates cellular communication.
What does liposomal mean? Liposomes are tiny fat-based spheres that resemble the membranes of cells. They encapsulate the calcium like a natural transport carrier, allowing the mineral to pass efficiently through the digestive tract and be delivered directly to the cells, where it can work optimally. The result is improved bioavailability compared to many conventional forms of calcium, high tolerance, and the flexibility to take it independently of meals.
Not all calcium is created equal.Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body and is essential for bones, muscles, nerves, and energy metabolism. About 99% of the body’s calcium is stored in bones and teeth, providing them with strength and stability. But not all calcium is the same—the form of calcium determines its absorption, tolerance, and effectiveness:
- Liposomal Calcium is a premium form where the calcium is encapsulated in liposomes. This technology optimizes transport through the digestive tract, enhances cellular absorption, and delivers superior bioavailability.
- Calcium Citrate is an organic form that is well absorbed even without stomach acid, making it ideal for those with reduced acid production or older adults.
- Calcium Malate combines calcium with malic acid. It is highly soluble and easily tolerated, allowing efficient absorption by the body.
- Calcium Lactate is gentle and well-soluble, making it perfect for sensitive digestive systems.
- Red Algae Calcium provides naturally bound calcium and also contains magnesium and trace elements such as zinc and boron.
- Calcium Carbonate offers the highest calcium content of all forms, but it requires an acidic environment for optimal absorption, making it best taken with meals.
With Women's Best Super Sorb Calcium® capsules, we have created a product that combines maximum efficiency with excellent tolerance thanks to its liposomal structure. It is ideal for those with higher calcium needs, active individuals, people with sensitive stomachs, or anyone who refuses to compromise on the quality of their supplements.
How do I take it?

Superior bioavailability thanks to liposomal technology.
In liposomal technology, calcium is encapsulated in tiny lipid spheres called liposomes. These consist of a double layer of phospholipids, the same structure as our cell membranes. When lecithin is dissolved in water, it naturally forms tiny hollow spheres that enclose the calcium and protect it from stomach acid.
The phospholipid structure of the liposomes mirrors the body’s own cell membranes, allowing the calcium to be absorbed more efficiently because the liposomes can partially fuse with the cell membranes. This protects the calcium as it passes through the digestive tract and significantly increases its bioavailability.

Essential for bones, teeth, muscles, nerves, and more.
Calcium is an essential mineral involved in numerous vital functions in the body. As a key building block, it supports strong bones and healthy teeth, but its importance goes far beyond that.
Calcium plays a central role in muscle contraction, from skeletal muscles to the heart. In the nervous system, it enables the transmission of signals between nerve cells, making it essential for smooth communication.
It is also crucial for blood clotting, as the blood cannot clot properly without sufficient calcium. Additionally, calcium activates various enzymes and supports hormone release, contributing significantly to many metabolic processes.

Osteoporosis: when bones become porous.
Around 99% of the calcium in the body is stored in the bones, providing them with strength and stability. If we consume too little calcium through our diet, the body draws on its reserves, taking the essential mineral from the bones.
What may seem harmless in the short term can develop into a serious risk over time. Continuous calcium depletion makes bone tissue increasingly porous and fragile. As a result, bones lose their natural strength and may no longer withstand everyday stress. Even a minor fall or sudden movement can then lead to fractures, particularly in the spine, hips, and wrists.

Calcium as a key cellular messenger.
Calcium plays a central role in cells as a messenger, transmitting information and regulating numerous processes. Under normal conditions, calcium levels inside the cell are very low. However, when an external stimulus such as a nerve impulse or a hormone occurs, special channels open, and calcium flows into the cell or is released from internal stores.
This temporary rise in calcium concentration triggers a variety of vital processes, including muscle contractions, neurotransmitter release, and the activation of enzymes and genes. Once the response is complete, calcium is removed from the cytoplasm, allowing the cell to return to its resting state. In this way, calcium acts as a precise molecular switch that regulates many essential functions in the body.
